Ingredients Care Questions

What's inside

A short list. Nothing to hide.

In plain words

  • White sugar the polish — fine-grained, it dissolves as you rinse
  • Crushed oats the softer half of the polish, carried over from the soap
  • Macadamia oil what stays after the rinse — a light gloss, quick to sink in
  • Shea butter rounds the rinse, so skin feels finished rather than stripped
  • Jersey milk from Mona — one cow, one paddock

Blended in small runs and made to be rinsed away. Because a shower jar meets water, the formula carries a gentle preservative and vitamin E — both named in full on the label.

On the label — INCI

Sucrose, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Meal, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Lac (Jersey Milk), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Tocopherol.

Contains tree nuts.

The final ingredient list is printed on every jar, in descending order by weight.

In use

Used well, it goes far.

Slow circles, light hand

Work a small scoop over damp skin in slow circles — elbows, knees, heels, anywhere that feels rough. Light pressure is enough; the sugar does the polishing, not the push.

Twice a week is plenty

This is a polish, not a daily wash — let the soap do the everyday work. Two or three showers a week keeps skin smooth without asking too much of it.

Dry fingers, closed lid

Scoop with dry fingertips or a small spoon, and keep the lid on between showers — water settling in the jar shortens its life. Room temperature is fine.

How it's made

Questions

Asked, answered.

What does “milk” mean here?

No honey, and nothing added for scent — the same sugar-and-oat polish, carried by Mona’s Jersey milk alone.

Is it really unscented?

There is no added fragrance. What remains is the faint, natural smell of oats and macadamia — and it rinses away with the scrub.

How often should I use it?

Two or three times a week is plenty for most skin. It is a polish, not a daily wash — let the soap carry the everyday, and bring the jar out when skin feels rough.

Can I use it on my face?

It is made for the body — elbows, knees, heels, arms. The skin on the face is finer and deserves a softer touch than sugar, so keep the jar below the neck.

When will my order ship?
